First post, with apologies
A short note on what this site is and isn't, and the appropriate level of trust to extend until proven otherwise.
This site is new. I built it the way you’d expect a robotics engineer to build a personal site: minimal, fast, and over-engineered in exactly one direction (everything is plain Markdown). It will look slightly emptier than it should for a few weeks while I move things over.
The plan is three sections.
Work is for project case studies. I’m a robotics engineer at Raise Robotics, where I work on manipulation stacks — perception, motion planning, and the patient business of getting hardware to do what it’s told. The case studies will be specific enough to be useful and vague enough to be allowed.
Travel is the part I’m most excited about. I’ve been writing travel notes in scattered docs for a few years. They’re going to find a home here, slowly.
Opinions is for everything else. Engineering takes, things I’ve changed my mind about, the occasional rant about how we read papers.
If you’re here from somewhere I posted, hello. If you’re here because you found a 404, sorry — I’ll get to it.
